Asiana Airlines operates a newly refurbished Boeing 777-200ER daily from Sydney to Incheon (Seoul’s International Airport).
The new aircraft interior contains capsule style seating in Business Class that reclines to 161 degrees with a 60 inch pitch in a 2,3,2 configuration and the seat also comes equipped with a satellite phone and facsimile as well as SMS service. A PC power outlet has been installed in each seat so passengers can carry out personal business during the flight.
Economy Class seating is in a 3,3,3, configuration and each and every seat has IFE systems with a 6.5 inch LCD screen offering a wide range of the latest movies, games, news and sport, there is something for everyone.
In both classes, a choice of Western and Korean meals are offered on this service along with an international selection of wines and environmentally-friendly coffee produced by Rainforest Alliance and, various types of tea and juice is also served.
The airline recently was awarded “Airline of the Year 2009” by Air Transport World magazine and for the secondly consecutive year, a 5-Star ranking by Skytrax, the world renowned research organisation in the airline industry.
In addition, Asiana for the forth consecutive year was awarded Best Onboard & Flight Attendants Award from Global Traveller magazine as well as Best Flight Attendants in the World and Best In-Flight Services in the World Award by Business Traveller magazine for the second consecutive year. |
