Day 1 - Depart Australia / Arrive Taiwan
On arrival into Taipei International Airport, you will be met by your friendly TaiwanHolidays.com.au guide who will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend one night. You will be able to use the free time to explore the vibrant night life of Taipei, e.g. 101 Building, Night Markets... etc.

Day 2 - Sun Moon Lake / Puli / Taichung (B)
After breakfast, you will depart for your Taiwan Highlight Tour, by picking up by your guide to enbus for Nantou to Sun Moon Lake Tour. You will visit many of the famous sights around Sun Moon Lake (Wen Wu Temple, Tehua Village, Tse-En Pagonda, Holy Monk Shrine. The tour then continues to Puli, where you will see the beauty of this city which has the back drop of Central Mountain Range. The city is said to be particularly famous for its ‘four Ws”, that is its weather, water, wine and women! The mountain ranges maintain a mild climate all round the year, while the water has a balanced mineral content to give it a wonderful fresh taste. Puli’s brewery produces a variety of liquors that are widely credited by the tourists. Finally reaching Taichung City to stay 1 night.

Day 3 - Taichung / Lukang / Kaohsiung (B)
After breakfast, depart for Lukang, the historical and cultural town and (The Chinese means Lukang is the second largest town in Taiwan.) Lukang is the venue of a national folk arts festival that lasts for several days before and after the boat races themselves. At this time, the old town regains some of its former glory as huge crowds of visitors pack its narrow streets. Some of the well known sightseeings around Lukang are: Tienhou Temple, Old market Street, Half-side well, Nine-turns Lane/Shih Yih Hall, Lukang Folk Arts Museum, Remembrance Hall,Lungshan Temple, Wenkai Academy Civil Shrine Martial Temple. At the end of today you will be transported to Kaohsiung by train or bus.

Day 4 - Kaohsiung / Kenting / Kaohsiung (B)
Today, the highlight for many visit Taiwan is a visit to Kenting National Park, undoubtedly one of the most beautifully reserved natural forest in Taiwan. It is located in south of Taiwan with popular beach bordering on the tropical region of Taiwan where palm tree, banana trees, sugar cane and surfing beach are part of the scene. It's an excellent place for swim, surf, and dive. Other sightseeings will be visited today are the southermost tip of Taiwan, "Maopitou" (named after the shape of cat-nose-like rock.) The coast of coral reef is worth a visit for landreforms which strongly affected by wave erosions, efflorescence, and salt-soaking. The natural landscape like wave erosion caves, ditches, and pillars are amazing, sea view here is attractive and very enjoyable. The Oluanpi Light House will also be visited before you be transported back to Kaohsiung.

Day 5 - Kaohsiung / Cheng Ching Lake / Taipei / Australia (B)
This morning you will depart for Kaohsiung City Tour. The city of Kaohsiung is Taiwan's largest industrial centre, and is second largest city in Taiwan. It has stayed abreast of Taiwan's recent progress and prosperity; expanding and modernizing. Some of the well know sightseeings in Kaohsiung City is the Love River. You will visit the largest lake in Kaohsiung, Cheng Ching Lake, developed originally as a reservoir to meet the need for water for industrial use. Later on the lake was improved through environmental landscaping, until today it offers the beauty of a forested park. The Spring & Autumn Pavilions are two massive pavilions dedicated to Kuan Kung, the God of War, the Spring and Autumn Pavilions were completed in 1951. In front of the pavilions is a statue of Kuanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, riding a dragon. Hsizu Bay is only 20 minutes drive from downtown Kaohsiung.This scenic spot offers a romantic venue for lovers and other visitors. There are two historical sites near the beach: the former British Consulate and the Strategic North Gate. Then you will be transported by bus or train to Taipei International Airport for your onward (CI 51 22:55) flight back to Australia.
Day 6 - Arrive Australia (B)
