Pyramid Lake, the Valley of Fire State Park, and the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park have been announced among the winners of the “Nevada’s Treasures” competition.

As the end of semester one approaches on Australia’s first cruise qualification – Diploma Tourism (Cruise Operations) – the students are building their product and destination knowledge, thanks to the support of the cruise industry.

More than 200 agents from Australia and New Zealand recently travelled to Dubai to take part in the Emirates Dubai Famil Incentive in partnership with the Dubai Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Arabian Adventures.

The ‘father of cruising’, Maurice Zarmati, joined travel agents Sherrie and Charlie Funk and innovators Brad and Van Anderson in being inducted into the CLIA 2012 Cruise Industry Hall of Fame earlier this month in Fort Lauderdale.
