Company Profile
Hahn Air is a leader of the airline distribution industry and operates the industry's leading universal ticketing platform with more than 250 partner airlines available on Hahn Air tickets in all GDS. The Hahn Air e-document HR-169 includes Securtix®: comprehensive insolvency insurance*, consisting of a reimbursement guarantee and compensation in the event of airline insolvency. The company cooperates with 88,000 travel agencies in 190 markets.
Travel agents appreciate working with Hahn Air as they can issue tickets also for airlines which are not in their local BSP. In Australia, Hahn Air tickets of a total number of 246 partner airlines can be issued. In New Zealand, 247 airlines are issuable on HR-169.
For ticketing availability of Hahn Air's partner airlines, agents can use the Quick Check tool on www.hahnair.com. It will show results in seconds just by choosing the country of ticketing and the requested airline(s). Moreover, it enables agents to retrieve and print up-to-date lists of airlines which can be issued on Hahn Air e-documents (HR-169) in their respective country. A complete list of all airlines available for ticketing in Australia or New Zealand can be created easily.
To issue e-tickets on a Hahn Air e-document (HR-169) agents simply have to follow the standard GDS ticketing process. No segment with an HR flight number needs to be included in the itinerary and standard payment methods are accepted.
If travel agents need support, Hahn Air's global and local Help desks can be called directly. The toll-free numbers for Australia and New Zealand are AU: 1300 850 006 and NZ: 0800 747 380 during business hours. The global Help desk can be reached 20 hours a day starting at 9:00 am CET via +49-6103-5013-200. Additionally, requests can be sent via email at hahnair@walshegroup.com (local contact) or service@hahnair.com (global Help desk).
Hahn Air's website supplies travel agents with a wide range of information and tools, e.g. interactive route maps for all partner airlines, airline profiles including contact details, the Hahn Air College, a fun and easy way to learn about Hahn Air services or Hahn Air's virtual HR UATP Corporate Card. If travel agents register on www.hahnair.com, they also enjoy the benefit of using Hahn Air's "Your Rooster", which allows to waive an HR-169 ADM once a rolling year.
In 2011, Hahn Air launched the worldwide network of Hahn Air City and Airport Ticketing Centres, which now counts more than 1,200 international offices in 135 countries. By joining the network, HR Ticketing Centres start benefiting from Hahn Air's services even more. They receive e.g. a 2nd ADM waiver "Your Rooster" per rolling year, invitations to seminars in Hahn Air's training centre "The Aircraft" in Germany and access to Hahn Air's Booking Portal as well as the virtual HR UATP Corporate Card. All those services are 100% free of charge.
In order to improve services for travel agents worldwide, Hahn Air is the first airline to having launched a comprehensive insurance cover in case an airline is insolvent, called Securtix®. It assures that the unused portion of the ticket (including taxes) is refunded and that stranded passengers receive a compensation for a new ticket, accommodation, and other expenses. This insurance is included on every issued HR-169 e-ticket, without additional charges. For the extra work related to any claim approved by the insurance, travel agencies will receive compensation from Hahn Air.*
