Introducing V Australia
As Australia's newest international airline, V Australia offers a high quality, innovative travel option introducing a fresh new choice and competition to the trans-Pacific route. V Australia, took to the skies on February 27th 2009 with its inaugural services between Sydney and Los Angeles. On April 6th, V Australia's second route between Brisbane and Los Angeles took off and in September 2009 services will also commence between Melbourne and Los Angeles (subject to regulatory approval).
When we came up with the V Australia idea, we stepped back in time to a place where international air travel was something to look forward to. Where you'd get excited about what you'd have to eat, how nice it was to be waited on, and how good it felt to simply get up and away from the everyday.
V Australia brings a world of pure imagination to international air travel.
Impeccable service with a smile from the industry's finest, delicious dining, cutting-edge entertainment and three cabin classes - all on board the world's largest long-range twin-engine aircraft.
The Cabins:
The three class boutique style airline offers 33 Business Class lie-flat beds, 40 Premium Economy seats and 288 economy seats. The suite of in-flight products includes two in-flight bars, a "ladies only" toilet complete with piped music and Australian icons featured on subtle wallpaper murals.
All seats on the brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft offer personal state of the art on demand seat back entertainment with user friendly touch screen options and seat to seat 'chat' or USB connectivity.
Fuel Efficient Aircraft:
Thanks to a new wing, smarter engines and a lighter structure, the 777-300ER aircraft makes clever use of fuel. For every unit of fuel saved, almost three fewer units of carbon dioxide are generated. V Australia is the only carrier to operate the economically and environmentally efficient Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the long haul trans-Pacific route.
