RiveryFly Tasmania has been named national winner of the OM4Tourism Hidden Jewel Awards. The awards aim to discover tourism operators offering quality service who remain relatively unknown and poised for growth. OM4Tourism’s Jane Hammond Foster said: “Tourism is all about destinations, and RiverFly’s Daniel Hackett has harnessed the relatively unknown region of Tasmania’s northern riverlands to create a very real adventure travel experience.” “Just when you think you know what's out there on offer in Australian tourism, along comes the quality of these winners, which really highlights the depth we have in tourist operations in this country,” said John Walsh, Awards judge and executive producer of Channel Nine’s Getaway. |
