Cherating Beach Malaysia

Phuket Thailand

In Kata Bay, south of Phuket Island, the Club Med Resort stretches out under palm trees caressed by the breeze. Bungalows, built in the style of the local 'long-houses' and decorated with teak, silk and marble, refine a Zen spirit in this idyllic garden where you can practise yoga beneath the frangipani trees. A warm and clear sea opens up its underwater depths, filled with colourful fish and abundant flora. In Phuket, adults and children alike can find tranquillity and discover Thai culture.

The public beach, with no lifeguard, stretches for 1200 metres of very fine white sand along the magnificent Kata Bay. It is equipped with deckchairs, a few parasols and showers at the edge of the beach.

The luxuriant vegetation consists of bougainvillea, hibiscus and impressive trees such as acacias, ficus and a number of varieties of palms spread through the 12 hectares of gardens. Several pools and variable lighting enhance the landscape.

From the Resort of Lindeman Island lying on the north-east coast of Australia, in the heart of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, the view over the Whitsundays Islands is really magical.
