Free Transit tours on offer at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport

Passengers passing through Seoul’s Incheon International Airport can now enjoy a free one hour transit tour as well as a five hour Seoul City Tour at 50% off costing just US$25.  This special Transit Tour promotion is available until the end of December 2008 to allow visitors awaiting transfers to flights on to Europe or the United States the chance to see something of Korea while in transit..

Enjoy a free (usually US$5) one hour Younggungsa Temple tour located at the foot of Mt. Baegunsan nearby the airport. Built during the Silla Dynasty in 670AD this tour allows an insight into Korean history while you await your onward flight.  The free one hour temple tour operates three times per day departing Incheon International Airport at 9am 11am and 3pm.

Transit passengers with a little more time on their hands can enjoy the five hour Seoul City Tour at the discounted rate of only US$25 (usually US$50) and discover the charms of its old palaces and museums, the beautiful Cheonggyecheon Stream in the downtown as well as enjoy the delights of Korean cuisine. This tour departs Incheon International Airport three times daily at 9am 11am and 12noon.
