Eurail tips Berlin to be hot in 2009
After considering the destinations available in their network, Eurail has tipped Berlin to be one of their hottest European destinations for this year. With the city celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Berlin is sure to welcome a slew of travellers for celebratory visits this year. Already Frommer’s and BootsnAll have tipped the city to be one of their top choices to visit in 2009, and notes that Berlin is also great value compared to other parts of Europe. “Undoubtedly finances will play an important role on how and where we travel in 2009 and there are clearly some affordable destinations in Europe; coupled with a Eurail Pass offering freedom, flexibility and value for money, you can be assured of a relaxed and enjoyable trip,” said Eurail in a statement. Other hot destinations to watch out for are Bulgaria and the Czech Republic, also destinations which offer relatively good value for money in the European continent. The Eurail Global Pass is valid in 21 countries. |
