Qantas Opens New Business Lounge In Hong Kong
Executive Manager Customer and Marketing, Ms Lesley Grant, said the new lounge builds on the design of the Qantas International Business Lounges around the world. “The new Hong Kong Business Lounge aligns signature design elements with a new furniture range,” Ms Grant said. “The lounge is fitted with a contemporary furniture range including arm chairs, dining chairs and bar stools combining wood, leather and fabrics, and featuring chocolate brown carpet. “An improved comfort and seating layout provides a greater sense of personal space and the food and beverage menu has been enhanced to include a greater selection. “For our business travellers, we have included 14 individual workstations each equipped with a PC, complimentary wireless access, and power and data points are located throughout the lounge. “The lounge showcases key design elements such as Moooi lighting and an Akira Isogawa rug, with the eleven bathroom and shower suits housing Molten Brown amenity products. The new Business Lounge will replace the current Business Lounge in Hong Kong which opened in 1998. The First Lounge in Hong Kong is currently being expanded and refurbished, due to open next month in its existing location. Ms Grant said the new Business Lounge is part of Qantas’ commitment to offer its customers an exceptional experience across all ports. “Qantas continues to upgrade and enhance its international Business Lounge offerings, and follows recent upgrades in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Perth, Narita, Los Angeles, and Honolulu,” said Ms Grant. The new Business Lounge is on Level 5 of the Hong Kong International Terminal Building. Entry to the lounge is located on Level 6 of the terminal, via lift or escalator opposite Gate 15. Available to all Business, Chairmans Lounge, Platinum Frequent Flyers, Gold Frequent Flyers, Qantas Club members and all eligible oneworld passengers travelling on a oneworld marketed or operated flight. |
