As Thirsty Thursdays comes to a close for another year, Sydney's local travel trade were invited for an Eastern Mediterranean themed night out on the town.

One lucky winner will be able to enjoy for herself the wonders of the region, from pasta in Italy to coffee in Turkey, or even enjoy a Shwarma in Amman, as she walked home with a Royal Jordanian Airlines ticket to Jordan plus a two day Amman stopover from Touchdown Tours.

Lots of trinkets from the region were also up for grabs, with plenty of those attending the networking evening going home with reminders of the Mediterranean, may it be scarves found at local markets, Ouzo from Greece, or goodie bags from Globus.

Eastern Mediterranean Tourism Association, who also sponsored the food on the night, used the event to issue an open invitation to the travel industry to attend their complimentary dinner product evenings in February and March next year.
