Big price cuts for Indochina holidays - travellers benefit from a range of favourable conditions
Offering exceptional value-for-money, Travel Indochina has announced discounts of up to 40% on a range of its specialist Indochina holidays. The Travel Indochina Handmade Holidays Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos brochure features an expanded and exclusive product range in addition to the significant savings on 2009 brochured prices, with an average reduction of 35%, and some tours dropping over 40%. Managing Director of Travel Indochina, Paul Hole, says the reductions are the result of a number of factors, including Travel Indochina's strong hotel and transport rate negotiations, some downward movement of rates resulting from last year's economic downturn and increased competition due to new hotel openings in certain sectors and cities. "The strength of the Aussie dollar has also played a significant role in the reductions as well," says Paul. "However, it is important to stress that the decreased pricing does not come at the expense of quality within the Handmade Holidays range. "In fact we offer a selection of luxury colonial heritage and boutique properties, have introduced an expanded Halong Bay touring section and the largest Mekong Cruising spread in the Australian market." Travel Indochina's Halong Bay Overnight Small Group Tour starts from $271pp twin share, valid 01May - 30 Sept 2010 and includes 1 night accommodation on board in a private cabin with ensuite bathroom, touring on the Bay, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 brunch, transport, a local English-speaking guide and transfers. "We are also proud to introduce our new 'Vietnam a La Carte' day tours, where clients can put together their day's touring programme in consultation with their own Travel Indochina guide from a range of sites on offer." The Indochina brochure also includes an exclusive range of "Footloose" Vietnam and Cambodia product for price conscious, independent travellers. The Footloose Cambodia five day itinerary starts from $497pp twin share, valid from 01 Apr - 30 Sept 2010. It includes four nights accommodation, breakfast daily, air-conditioned vehicle, group touring (with a maximum of 12), entrance fees, local English-speaking guides, and arrival and departure transfers. "Additionally, the brochure includes a range of small group day tours with innovative itineraries and provides a wide range of family-friendly options. "As part of our Responsible Tourism philosophy, we also feature Cambodia hotels that are ChildSafe certified properties - meaning they have been accredited as not contributing to child exploitation and provide for a better future for children who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Where the ChildSafe stamp appears next to a hotel in the Cambodia pages of the brochure, this means the hotel is certified by Childsafe as committing to ChildSafe principles." Travel Indochina recently released its India brochure. Brochures for 2010 for China, Thailand, Borneo and Japan are coming soon.
