Virgin Blue's search for new CEO still in "early days"

Outgoing Virgin Blue Chief Executive Officer Brett Godfrey said last week that the official search to replace him had begun.

Godfrey told the Australian Financial Review that the process had begun two weeks ago with internal and external candidates up for consideration.

A Virgin Blue spokeswoman declined to comment on potential candidates, telling e-Travel Blackboard it was still "early days."

Godfrey has been leading Virgin Blue for 10 years with his departure date still unknown.
