Air Pacific appoints media consultant

Fiji's national carrier Air Pacific has appointed Samisoni Pareti as its Media Consultant, effective 01 December 2009.

Mr Pareti, who will be based at the airline's headquarters in Suva, has had a long career as a journalist, most recently as a freelancer.

He began a cadetship in journalism in 1986 at the then Fiji Broadcasting Corporation and later worked with the "Fiji Times", "Fiji Sun" and "Islands Business International".

Air Pacific managing director and CEO John Campbell said today that Mr Samisoni was no stranger to the airline, having written extensively about the airline in the carrier's in-flight magazine and other media.
