The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) strongly promoted barrier free travel to Germany during this year’s Paralympics and the focus was largely on a new documentary, “GOLD- U Can Do More Than U Think”, which followed three inspirational athletes on their way to the recent 2012 Paralympic Games. Australian Paralympic bronze medallist Kurt Fearnley is in the spotlight, alongside German swimmer Kirsten Bruhn and Kenyan Henry Wanyoike, who is one of the world’s fastest blind marathon runners. |
